Our Story

Story in Bray is the passion of owner, Lindy Harpham.  What started as a small post-retirement adventure has become a way of life for over 13 years. 

We work with fantastic suppliers and makers, to give our customers unusual, often unique items. 

We don’t hold masses of stock, we like to turn over our beautiful merchandise often so there is an ever-changing story.  In addition to our shop offerings, we also specialise in interior design, styling and soft-furnishings. 

From the simplest of things like making cushions, lampshades and upholstery, to designing and styling entire spaces. 

Our approach is very informal and collaborative as we work with our customers to build the story that suits them.
